Kumudini Medical College Mirzapur Tangail

Kumudini Medical College (KWMC) is a women Medical College association with Kumudini Hospital at Mirzapur in Tangail Bangladesh. It was established in 2001 within the hospital complex.

Kumudini Medical College Mizapur (KWMC)

Total area is 110 acres of land. The hospital has established in 1944 by the great philanthropist Ranada Prasad Shaha. The college offers a five year course of MBBS degree. Foreign students can admit here. It is totally a residential college inside the Kumudini Campus. There is a good environment for the female students. The security, discipline, academic atmosphere and learning facilities are matters of pride for KWMC. The college has started four year BDS degree from 2012. It is one of the reputed private medical colleges in Bangladesh.

Admission Eligibility and procedures

Candidates have to pass SSC and HSC exam from science group with physics, chemistry and Biology. Total grade point will be average of 8.00 by both the examinations. Normally MBBS admission offers after HSC resultspublish. Students having O level and A level qualifications should apply with certificate of equivalence issued from the competent authority. Tangail (Bengali: টাঙ্গাইল, [ʈaŋgail]) is a city of Tangail District situated at the central region of Bangladesh 98 km north-west of Dhaka, the capital. It is one of the important cities of Central Bangladesh and main urban area of Tangail District. The city is located on the bank of Louhajang River.

It would take approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes to go Tangail from Dhaka city, via Kaliakair and Tongi. The distance is around 98 km. From Mohakhali (মহাখালী) bus terminal, several buses use to run for this city. Among them Nirala, Dhaleshwari, Jhatika and High Choice are notable bus services.
