Importance Of The Technical Education


Principal's Message:


Education is important for every individual in a nation. It plays a vital role to change the store of a country. No country could bring a revolution in it unless its every body are educated enough to meet the challenges. Education makes a man realize about himself and his goals and how to achieve that goals. The education that concerns with the professionalism is called Technical education. This education deals practically in the field of trade, commerce, agriculture, medicine & Engineering. For above purpose Tangail polytechnic was established in 1991 under the executive control of the ministry of education, Government of the peoples Republic of Bangladesh. It is acting through the Directorate of technical Education. The academic programs function under the regulation of the Bangladesh Technical education board.
Mission:

The mission of Tangail Polytechnic Institute is absolute commitment to the highest obtainable standard of quality service through excellence and concerted efforts of customers, employees and shareholders at all levels of corporate activity in the use of organizational science and knowledge to solve real life business problems.

Vision:

Full Description Of Madhupur Upazila In Tangail District

As of the 2011 Bangladesh census, Madhupur has a population of 296729. Males constitute 51.13% of the population, and females 48.87%. Madhupur has an average literacy rate of 41.2% (Male-42.7% & Female-39.7).

Madhupur has 6 Unions, 242 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 343 villages. The 6 Unions are:

Hats, bazars Hats and bazars are 45, most noted of which are Madhupur, Dhanbari and Garo Hat; fairs 3 (Sholakudi Mela , Dhanbari Baishakhi Mela & Dhalpur Boishakhi Mela).
Main exports Pineapple, silk, cotton, jackfruit and honey. NGO activities Operationally important NGOs are brac, asa, proshika and caritas, World Tourist Mission, Family and Child Welfare Centre, World Vision Bangladesh.

The literacy rate of the city area is 71.8% . There are 8 notable high schools in the city. Those are-

The majority of Tangail city's people are Muslims (88.2%) like most other parts of Bangladesh.Several Other religious groups include Hindus(11.7%),Christians (.08%) and Buddhists (0.02%).
Sports
Cricket is the most popular sport in Tangail. But football and kabaddi are also popular. All important sports events of the city are held in Tangail Stadium which is situated beside Bhashani hall & Tangail Eid-gah. The stadium has hosted some national events in the past. It was the home venue of Bangladesh Football Premier League club Team BJMC. But it was converted into a Cricket Stadium in 2015. First Division Cricket is regularly hosted in this venue.
